Building Reservation Requests

Our facilities may only be reserved by members of the Starkville Church of Christ, who pledge to attend and monitor all activities so reserved by them.  
Please read the Terms and Conditions and then click on the links at the bottom of the page to submit your request.
It would be greatly appreciated if  reservation requests were received at least 3 days before the date of event.

Terms and Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: Our facilities are NOT to be used for fund-raising purposes, including such things as car washes, bake sales, jewelry parties, cosmetic parties, etc. Any activity which is designed to make a profit for an organization, group, or individual is prohibited. (Activities which require only a materials / supplies fee may be allowed, subject to approval.

Please do not advertise event before approval is received.

Paper products are NOT provided by the church. All plates, napkins, forks, cups, etc.
should be purchased and brought to the event by the person/group hosting the event.

After the event, clean up any areas which were used.

If any items (e.g., furniture, books, papers, etc.) are moved, they must be returned to their
original location. The room needs to be put back to the way that it was found. Tables, chairs, etc. should be appropriately stored.

Garbage should be taken to the dumpster, located in the rear parking lot.

If a kitchen is used, all dishes should be washed and put away, counters wiped down, and
sink cleaned.

Any damage should be reported to the office (office@starkvillechurch.org).
1. I agree to abide by all guidelines, requirements, rules, and other restrictions for the use of church facilities, as set forth by elders of the church. I understand that the church's eldership has the exclusive and final authority to determine, based on their understanding of Biblical precepts and principles (as described in the Bylaws of the Starkville Church of Christ, Inc. all matters related to usage of the church facility.

2. I agree to use caution in the activities involving church facilities and take responsibility for preventing harm to the event’s participants, other people, and the facilities.

3. I agree to provide adequate supervision for any children or youth present at the requested event.

4. I agree to confine the event to pre-approved areas of the church’s facility.

5. I agree to prohibit guns (or other weapons), alcoholic beverages, illicit drugs, tobacco, dancing, gambling, sexual immorality, pornography, profanity, dangerous and/or disrespectful behavior from occurring in this use of the church's facilities. (The elders of the church shall have complete authority to decide what activities and actions fall within these categories.)

6. I agree to accept responsibility for the cost of repairing / replacing of any church facilities which are damaged through this event.

7. I agree to release, protect, defend, indemnify and hold harmless the church and its elders, trustees, officers, ministers, deacons, employees, members and other representatives or designees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, actions, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees and other legal costs) directly or indirectly arising out of the use of any church facilities or property.

8. I understand that approval to use these facilities is conditional and that the church's eldership or its designee may terminate all facility use privileges and remove any person or group at any time without notice, including after initial approval or during the event.
