I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; I attended school in Vicksburg, Mississippi. I put on Christ in baptism in 1948. I entered the United States Air Force after graduating from high school. After serving in the military for 4 years, I entered Mississippi State University where I met my wife, Jimmye. After receiving my BS degree in accounting in 1961, we moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where I was employed by a CPA firm, Ernst & Ernst. After about two years, we moved to Bogalusa, Louisiana. We moved to Starkville in 1973 with our two children - Lee and Angelique. In 1978 I became a deacon in the church of Christ. I was assigned t work with the University Christian Student Center. In 1998 I began serving as an elder for the Starkville church of Christ. We have two children - Lee and Angelique and five grandchildren. Our children, their spouses and our grandchildren have been baptized into the Lord's church. It is my deepest desire to serve the Lord in any and every way for as long as I live.
